About your data and your privacy.

How does it work?

mybanks.io allows you to retrieve and display your bank accounts transactions and balances, but also initiate payments. This is all possible thanks to Open Banking (PSD2) services provided by all the banks in Europe and worldwide now.

mybanks.io can access your transactions and balances data only with your consent and because our partners (Exthand and Digiteal) are regulated by the National Bank of Belgium.

What about my data privacy?

mybanks.io stores your banking transactions and balances in Azure Cloud infrastructre, hosted in France.
Furthermore, through your profile, you might decide to delete your account and all your data.
Accessing your data from your bank can be performed as soon as you give us the consent to access it. That consent must be renewed every 180 days, if not, we loose the access to your data.

What about sharing my data?

You may decide to share those data with third parties. You have the possibility through the user interface to cancel those data sharings at any moment.
You might decide to share those data with other person (Share) or with softwares through APIs (Application).

Your data are never shared with third parties without your explicit consent and if done, you always have the possibility to cancel that consent at any time.

How may I stop ?

Canceling a recurring subscription (API Application).

You can cancel yearly subscription by doing this:
  • Select the company in the dropdown list.
  • Go in the "Applications" menu.
  • Select the subscription you want to cancel by ticking the box.
  • Click on the "Cancel App Renewal" button.

This is only possible if all invoices related to that subscription have been paid. ;)

Removing a bank account.

If you don't use anymore a bank account or just don't want to share his data into mybanx.io, follow those simple steps:
  • Selecting the bank account.
  • In the left menu, click on "Remove account" button.
  • In the next screen, confirm your choice and that's it!

From that moment, mybanx.io will not be able anymore to access your bank account's data from your bank.

Canceling your account.

To cancel your account on mybanx and stop synchronizing all your banking data:
  • Click on your email, top right corner of the screen.
  • Once in your profile, click on "Contract and personal data".
  • Click on "Delete and close contract"; enter your password to confirm.

Once your account is disabled, you can open it again by following the "Forgot password" process.
This is only possible if all invoices related to your account have been paid. ;)

Sharing data with an AI Agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral Le Chat, etc)

Sharing data with an AI Agent.

You can start sharing data with an AI Agent by using our MCP server.
  • Select the company in the dropdown list.
  • Go in the "Applications" menu.
  • Click on "Collect Data" and then "mybanx's MCP Server" in the list.
  • You can decide to share all your bank accounts or one in the list.
  • Click on "Start".

Now, you have 2 new applications in your list. The first one indicates that you share your own data with your own Client Key.
Once mybanx.io is linked to your AI Agent, you'll need to log in through the agent's app so it can access and retrieve your data.
The authentication process will require the Client Key and Application Key displayed in the current screen.

Canceling data sharing with an AI Agent.

You can cancel your data sharing with an AI Agent by doing this:
  • Select the company in the dropdown list.
  • Go in the "Applications" menu.
  • Select the subscription "You share data using mybanx's MCP Server" and click the checkbox.
  • Click on the "Cancel App Renewal" button.
